Radiation exposure vs distance
Last updated: 03/06/2015
Exposure to radiation is best limited by proper barriers & maximizing the distance from the source of radiation. The amount of radiation varies according to the inverse square law: The amount of radiation varies inversely with the square of the distance. For example, the exposure at 4 feet will be 1/16th that at 1 feet.
