Nitroglycerin: Uterine relaxation

Uterine relaxants may be required to assist in the removal ofretained placental productsor correction of auterine inversion. Several pharmacologic agents can be used, and should likely be selected based on the cardiopulmonary status of the patient (hypotensive vs. normotensive, spontaneously breathing versus intubated, etc.)
